THE CITY OF LEADVILLE IS SEEKING POLICE OFFICERS
The City of Leadville is seeking Police Officer applicants. Police Officers are responsible for
various law enforcement and community service functions for the City of Leadville. Police
Officers report to the Police Sergeant, and ultimately to the Leadville Chief of Police. Police
Officers work closely with the other members of a small Police Department at the city. The
Police Officer position is a full-time position and requires a minimum of 86 hours per two-week
pay period including possible overtime, evenings and nights. The annual pay range is $61,560 -

Street Department
THE CITY OF LEADVILLE IS SEEKING A STREET WORKER
Come work for the City of Leadville for our Streets Department! The City of Leadville is
seeking a Street Worker. This position will require a current Colorado Class B CDL.
The city is willing to train applicants without a CDL. Applicants with a Colorado Class
A or B CDL are eligible for a $1,000 signing bonus after six full months of continued
employment. A minimum of two years of experience operating heavy equipment is
preferred. Tanker endorsement is a plus. The Streets Worker position reports to the
Streets Supervisor. Duties and the assigned schedule will be varied. The applicant chosen for
employment must pass CDOT Physical with drug/alcohol screening and will be subject
to quarterly random drug/alcohol screening. The pay range will be $20 - 26 per hour. This is
a full-time position with a 40-hour work week with possible overtime. Please submit an
